The Devil Ray T38 has a length of 38 feet (11.1 m) and is based on a high-performance dual sponson platform that has multiple world records for manned speed and stability. It’s a medium USV system capable of high burst speeds, sea state stability and a maximum payload capacity of 4,000 lbs. (1,814 kgs). The Devil Ray T38 is a gas or diesel-powered system capable of hosting large payloads, superior sea state stability and high burst speed performance, extended ranges and endurance along with interdiction and subsurface sensor management capabilities. The system is a superior littoral or open ocean maritime solution for ISR, EW, MCM and other missions.
The T38 can be equipped with inboard/outboard powertrain options, allowing you to choose between diesel or gas engines to address your specific operational requirements. Based on those mission requirements, the combination of powertrain options and payload management can result in T38 systems with burst speeds ranging from 70 to 100+ kts. The T38 platform performance capabilities are maximized when combined with advanced sliding autonomy control modes that range from full-operator and autonomous control to shared control where multiple operators can cooperatively share USV control and payloads.
The T38 is a highly reliable system based on redundant modules and an open and flexible architecture that allows for plug and play payload management system. Deploying the T38 can provide a serious augmentation capability to your fleet operations.
