Teledyne Reson SeaBat® T50 fitted to Hydrographic Survey Ships

 

BlueZone Group provides numerous professional hydrographic survey services to the Royal Australian Navy. The products supplied to the Hydrographic Survey ship; HMAS LEEUWIN, include the Teledyne Reson SeaBat® T50-R Multi-Beam Echo Sounder (MBES). Four single-head T50 systems have been supplied by BlueZone, to replace the original Reson SeaBat® 7125 MBES. 

 

The SeaBat® T50 is the latest edition of the product series range, which combines a compact Rack-mounted Sonar Processor (RSP). This system provides exceptional survey data for faster operational surveys and reduced processing time.

Scope of Work:

• Supply of two dual-head Teledyne Reson SeaBat® T50 Multi-Beam Echo Sounders (MBES) to RAN Hydrographic Ships HMAS LEEUWIN and MELVILLE.
• Supply of four single-head Teledyne Reson SeaBat® T50 Multi-Beam Echo Sounders (MBES) to RAN Survey Motor Launches.
• Treatment of all Reson SeaBat® sonars with ClearSignal®  biofouling protection system
• Set to Work and Sea Acceptance trials
