SeeByte and BlueZone Group Forge Strategic Alliance to Strengthen Australian Naval Capabilities
BlueZone Group is proud to announce our appointment as the official Australian representative for SeeByte, a UK-based leader in advanced maritime defence and uncrewed systems technology. This strategic partnership marks a significant step forward in enhancing the Royal Australian Navy’s operational capabilities through cutting-edge autonomous maritime technologies.
As SeeByte’s exclusive representative in Australia, BlueZone Group will lead engagement across government, defence, and industry sectors—supporting business development, strategic partnerships, and program delivery. Our focus will include autonomous platforms, mission systems, command and control (C2) integration, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.
This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to supporting the Royal Australian Navy’s future force readiness and advancing autonomous systems integration to maintain a decisive edge in the maritime domain.
“As we expand our operational footprint in the Indo-Pacific, we are pleased to formalise this partnership with BlueZone Group” said Robert Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer at SeeByte. “Australia is a pivotal strategic region for SeeByte, and this collaboration helps empower them with cutting-edge technology, strengthening sovereign capability, and advancing combat readiness.”
“We look forward to representing SeeByte and supporting their integration into the Australian defence ecosystem. Their cutting-edge technology and operational experience will add significant value to Australia’s future capability landscape”, said Neil Hodges, Managing Director at BlueZone Group.
The agreement enhances SeeByte’s ability to engage directly with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and key stakeholders supporting AUKUS Pillar II initiatives.
BlueZone Group were fortunate to host representatives from SeeByte during the IndoPacific Maritime Exposition 2025, providing attendees with a unique opportunity to explore their world‑leading software solutions. On display were SeeTrack, the company’s advanced command‑and‑control system, and Neptune, their intelligent autonomy framework.
Together, these platforms are revolutionising the way uncrewed systems are operated—delivering seamless mission planning, real‑time monitoring, and adaptive autonomy across single or multi‑vehicle operations.
By showcasing these capabilities at IndoPAC, SeeByte highlighted how their technology is shaping the future of naval and commercial operations, enabling greater efficiency, and interoperability for mission success. Check out our short interview with SeeBytes Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Scott Reed as he shares insights into their groundbreaking command‑and‑control software and how it’s transforming the future of uncrewed systems.
