BlueZone Group is pleased to announce the largest delegation ever for the Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop (TMTW) October 15 to 18 in San Diego.

CEO, Neil Hodges, said that with the newly expanded Workshop that there was significant value to be gained from attending the workshop for many BlueZone staff. “Delegates from BlueZone will include technical and engineering staff as well as representatives from our sales team,” said Neil. “The TMTW is a great opportunity for learning at many levels and to ensure that our whole team is well placed to advise and support our customers in Australia.”

Lessons-learned from the Australian experience in underwater technology will also be shared by the BlueZone Group delegation. CTO, Darren Burrowes, said that BlueZone had made significant progress in adding value to Teledyne products to adapt to local conditions and customer needs.”For example, the DL25 Extended Memory and Control (EMAC) enables enables long term data logging and remote control of Teledyne RDI ADCPs,” said Darren, “Many customers in Australia have found this product to be ideal to add flexibility and real-time control to ADCP ocean and river deployments.”

BlueZone Group will also present a paper on a current innovative project for Teledyne OceanScience Z-Boats to be used for bathymetric survey, river gauging and as a Riverine Scout Boat https://bluezonegroup.com.au/announcements/army-innovation-award-robotic-z-boat. The presentation will describe the rapid development of the three Z-Boats incorporating new sensor technology for Army applications and results from preliminary demonstration trials.
