AHA 2025 Event – Launceston
AHA 2025 Event – Launceston
On our mission to stay ahead of the tide, this month the BlueZone team had the pleasure of attending ‘The Australian Hydrographers Association (AHA)’ annual event in Launceston, Tasmania. This year’s theme, “Exploring Water’s Depths,” examined the evolution of surface water and groundwater systems while highlighting the future of water quality monitoring.
AHA 2025 brought together esteemed water resources and hydrographic industry leaders from the Asia-Pacific region, providing us with a valuable platform to exchange insights, foster meaningful discussions, and establish new professional relationships. From in-depth technical sessions exploring the latest advancements in hydrology and hydrographic surveying to engaging panel discussions on the future of marine mapping, the conference showcased a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Keynote presentations offered forward-thinking perspectives, driving conversations on emerging technologies, sustainability, and the evolving needs of the industry.
Further strengthening our 20-year long relationship with the AHA, this year, BlueZone had the pleasure of sponsoring the networking drinks at Du Cane Brewery. This opportunity allowed us to engage with professionals across various disciplines, strengthening collaborations and paving the way for future partnerships.
We look forward to the AHA’s next engagement to explore how the hydrographic industry has advanced. With technology evolving rapidly and new innovations shaping the future of marine mapping, it will be exciting to see how research, data processing, and surveying techniques continue to progress.
To AHA, the organisers, speakers, and everyone who made this event such an enjoyable and educational experience, we extend our gratitude. We’re excited to take these new connections and ideas forward!
