BlueZone Group CEO, Neil Hodges, today announced that BlueZone Group would consolidate all activities of ATSA Defence Services and UVS under the BlueZone Group banner.

“We have had great market reception from the BlueZone Group brand,” said Neil, “as it encapsulates everything that we do working with our customers in the deep oceans, coastal seas, rivers and water infrastructure.” The BlueZone Group brings together a compelling market offering for those customers who need access to technically superior products combined with comprehensive Australia-based support capability. “Our application engineering team is also at the service of customers,” said Neil, “for rapid prototype and development of systems for harsh underwater applications.”

The UVS brand (formerly Underwater Video Systems) was originally established in 1973 servicing customers in Australia’s first Offshore Oil & Gas field in the Bass Strait. UVS grew to establish offices in Perth to service Western Australian Offshore Oil & Gas customers and joined the BlueZone Group in 2011. ATSA Defence Services was established in 2000 as a service partner for Saab Underwater Systems of Sweden and provides support to the Royal Australian Navy Mine Disposal System embarked in the HUON Class Minehunter Coastal Ships. The UVS and ATSA brands will be retired and all activities of these entities will continue to be undertaken by the BlueZone Group.
