15-Years of AIDN NSW Membership
BlueZone recognised for 15-year membership as part of the Australian Industry and Defence Network NSW
Elizabeth Karpiel, BlueZone Group CEO, and Andrew Hazell, BlueZone Group General Manager – Sales, were very happy to meet up with our friends and colleagues at the 2021 AIDN NSW Christmas Function in Darling Harbour, Sydney on 8th December. It has been a challenging year and it was great to celebrate the successes and achievements we have all made in the last 12 months.
AIDN has a history of state-level branches and BlueZone Group has been a member of AIDN NSW for 15 years. With the recent establishment of AIDN National this will provide a single voice for lobbying government on behalf of Defence SMEs. Elizabeth Karpiel said that as BlueZone has a national reach with east and west coast sustainment centres, the creation of AIDN national was good news. “BlueZone has more than a 20-year track record in support of remotely operated vehicles and uncrewed maritime systems for the ADF,” said Ms Karpiel, “We service a national customer, and increasingly Robotic and Autonomous Systems will be moved nationally and internationally to meet ADF needs and BlueZone will be there to provide maintenance, modification and upgrade wherever the ADF needs it.”
BlueZone was honoured to be presented with a certificate of recognition for our contribution to the Network and the defence industry. AIDN NSW represents the interests of the NSW defence sector and provides it with a collective voice.
