We’re excited to welcome a new face to the BlueZone Group, Perth, office – please join us in extending a warm welcome to Alana, who has joined the team as Project Officer and Office Administrator.

Alana comes to us from Austal Ships, where she worked as a Document Controller in the Sustainment department. With a keen interest in growing her career, Alana began her Diploma in Project Management earlier this year. This led her to seek a role where she could gain invaluable knowledge and learn from the experienced project managers at BlueZone Group.

With her father and uncle, both former serving ADF members, SAS and Army respectively, Alana would inevitably join the industry, working on projects to help protect Australia. BlueZone not only offers her experience in project management, working with the newest innovations in underwater electronics, but also a supportive work environment. She notes “[BlueZone has a] good work life balance with colleagues who are interested in each other’s wellbeing as well as work”.

Outside of work, Alana is a mum to two boys and two dogs. Her ideal Saturday morning includes trips to Bunnings, cleaning with music blasting, and playing with her boys outside. BlueZone is proud to create a space where its’ employees can enjoy a heathy balance between work and life.

Since joining BZG in early March, Alana has been a driving force in keeping the Perth office running smoothly, while also offering valuable support to our project team members Mitch, Andrew and Seb. Alana has also jumped straight into running her own projects, including the Perth Office Relocation and a special 25^th anniversary project, stay tuned for more details.
