Teledyne Marine Technology Focus Days

The Teledyne Marine Asia Technology Days 2022 was hosted in Penang, Malaysia on the 19^th – 20^th of October. The technology showcase was designed to introduce the Teledyne Marine product range and capabilities, by highlighting some of the most interesting applications. BlueZone was proud to attend the two-day event and enjoyed meeting everyone in person after the original event was postponed.

BlueZone has worked alongside several Teledyne Marine companies since the 1980s and demonstrated the capability of a sovereign Australian SME to provide effective support to Teledyne’s undersea technologies. Teledyne Marine Technology is a leading-edge undersea group that has been assembled by Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Over the past 13 years, Teledyne Marine has evolved into an industry powerhouse through combining technology companies under a single umbrella.

During the Asia Technology Days, operator speakers from the different Teledyne companies including Reson, Benthos and Bowtech, and Impulse-PDM, presented a wide array of the latest technology capabilities. The six major markets that were covered over the two days were Oceanography, Hydrography/Navigation, Aquaculture/Fisheries, Energy, Defence/Security, and Water Resources/Civil Engineering. BlueZone has consulted with several customers from these markets to supply specific equipment for different applications including the Multibeam Echosounders, ROVs and AUVs, Profiling Floats, and many more.
