Replacement of Bender IRDH375 Line Insulation Monitor (LIM) Units
SAAB Seaeye PSU Models
The Bender IRDH375 LIM, integral to several SAAB Seaeye PSU models, has been discontinued. Its functional replacement is the Bender iso685S, paired with the FP-200 display unit.
Affected PSU Models
- Seaeye 250V PSUs: 9PSU-6 and 9PSU-7
- Seaeye 500V PSUs: All ROVPSU5-500V and ROVPSU6-500V variants
- Seaeye Leopard PSUs: ROVPSU-55KVA-3KV variants, 17ROVPSU01, and 17ROVPSU02
Note: Falcon SI-PSU07 and SI-PSU08 units are excluded.
Replacement Solution
The iso685S LIM, with its FP-200 display unit, is a direct replacement, ensuring system reliability. Installation requires tools such as a flat blade terminal screwdriver and a scalpel.
The replacement LIM kit is available under SAAB Seaeye part number ISO685S-FP200.
Replacement Notice: Falcon SI-PSU07 and SI-PSU08 LIM Units
The Bender IRDH375 LIM used in Falcon SI-PSU07 and SI-PSU08 units is also discontinued. The Bender iso685S with the FP-200 display unit serves as its direct replacement.
Apex SeaCam: End-of-Life Announcement
The 4K camera module in the Apex SeaCam has reached its production end. Last-time purchases are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until December 31, 2023, or while inventory lasts.
Servicing for existing units will continue, but new orders will no longer be accepted. Customers are encouraged to transition to the Optim SeaCam, which offers comparable performance.
Multi SeaLite: Transition to LED Technology
After 30 years of reliable halogen lighting, the Multi SeaLite family, including Midwater and Deep variants, has been discontinued as of December 1, 2024. Orders for units and spare parts will be accepted until January 1, 2025, while supplies last.
The LED SeaLite is recommended as a replacement, providing superior efficiency and durability.
Sentinel V ADCP Models End-of-Life Advisory
Effective January 1, 2025, all Sentinel V models will be removed as active products from the Teledyne lineup.
Systems Affected
- Sentinel V20 – 1000 kHz
- Sentinel V50 – 500 kHz
- Sentinel V100 – 300 kHz
Effective January 1 production will continue only to fulfill existing orders or specific tenders scheduled for 2025. Teledyne, through BlueZone Group will provide ongoing support and spare parts for as long as part availability permits.
Should parts become unavailable, Teledyne, through BlueZone Group will offer alternative solutions.
