Leaders at Culture Summit

Representatives from the BlueZone team attended Culture Is The Strategy Summit in Hunter Valley

Being More Human presented the Culture Is The Strategy Summit in the Hunter Valley today, and discussed some of the new issues that leaders are facing and the challenges presented when trying to maintain the most positive and constructive culture for our organisations. There have been significant changes in the world over the past 3 years and the changing macroeconomic environment has led to changes in the way we live and the way we work.

The presenters raised some very interesting (and at times hilarious) suggestions on ways we can all work on our leadership and culture. Culture is not the responsibility of any one individual, or of the HR department, it comes from everyone in the organisation. At BlueZone we believe we have a strong and very positive culture which has contributed to our history of employees staying with us for years and decades. However, we are always happy to learn!

There was food for thought where speakers showed graphs of how they perceived themselves, and how others in their organisation perceived them. The leaders at BlueZone, both current and emerging, are committed to maintaining and building on our already strong culture keeping our workplace a positive, inspiring, and inclusive place.
