BlueZone is pleased to announce appointment as a distributor in Australia for Teledyne Reson, (Slangerup, Denmark).

BlueZone will offer the full range of Teledyne Reson products from offices located in Newcastle, Melbourne and Perth. BlueZone Chief Operating Officer, Neil Trenaman, said that it was particularly important to be able to offer “on the ground” support for Teledyne Reson products from the BlueZone Perth office. “Perth is and active support centre for the Offshore Oil & Gas industry, said Neil, “The BlueZone office at Bibra Lake has the significant experience and in-depth capability to support sales and service of customers operating in Western Australia”.

Neil said that BlueZone had recently invested in training for engineering staff to improve the support service that could be offered by BlueZone for Teledyne Reson products. “Engineering staff have been trained by Teledyne Reson at Slangerup in the theory and practice of sonar operations. The training has included: sonar concept; hands on training on PDS2000 software; PDS2000 set-up, operation and processing; shallow water and deep water operations. Service training included in-depth knowledge and practice on sonar processor enabling UVS to be certified as a RESON Service Partner.

BlueZone General Manager Oceanographic & Hydrographic, Mark Hegarty, said that he was delighted to again be able to work with Teledyne Reson products. Mark, said that as a qualified hydrographic surveyor, he was able to draw upon operational experience to advise customers of the best products to meet their surveying requirements.
