BlueZone Group at the Greater Hunter Makers Festival
BlueZone Group joined over sixty local companies that exhibited at the inaugural Greater Hunter Makers Festival at the Newcastle Jockey Club in November. Also at the festival were 5 local schools showing their exciting work in STEM education spearheaded by practical projects and competitions in building and making.
There was an energising buzz at the festival on the first day with many business-to-business meetings between local manufacturers. The conversations were quite different from the usual ‘networking over drinks’ functions as the focus for discussions was driven by the equipment and systems on display leading to new conversations on collaboration and doing business together. The constant flow of school students through the exhibit area added to the general high energy levels of the day and it was exciting to thinks about the future for the region that would soon be in the hands of these students as they entered the workforce.
BlueZone Group launched the SewerSerpent225™ electronic leak detector and received many enquiries from interested business and drainage contractors regarding the new capability. The SewerSerpent225™ can be used to rapidly locate sewer leaks that cause problems in sewer networks around the world.
