BlueZone exhibited at the AIDN Australian Sovereign Capability Showcase in Canberra ACT

The BlueZone Team sponsored and attended the AIDN Australian Sovereign Capability Showcase at Parliament House in Canberra ACT, in November 2022. The event highlighted the critical role the Australian defence industry plays in contributing to Australia’s sovereignty, security, and safety.

A highlight of the event was hearing from Brent Clarke. Mr Clarke spoke well about defence industry and SMEs engaging with Defence. He is a strong advocate of true economic value of sovereign offerings versus the apparent cost savings of continuing to buy from overseas OEMs.

BlueZone is proudly an Australian owned SME with a long history of contribution to the defence industry. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to showcase the strengths of industry in supporting Defence, and to see how so many Australian businesses are leading the way in helping the Defence force to protect Australia.

The event provided opportunity to network with familiar and new faces. It was long-awaited after being initially planned for 2021 and deferred due to health risks of covid-19.
