The OG05 Teledyne Reson T20-P Integration Kit provides for fast deployment and easy integration of the SeaBat® T20-P Multi-Beam Echo Sounder (MBES) into small boats or other survey vessels.
Fast Deployment on Commercial Airlines
The complete OG05 Teledyne Reson T20-P Integration Kit is re-packaged from multiple shipping boxes to just four rugged and transportable “Pelican” type cases. Each case weighs less than 32kg (70lb) and is fitted with wheels for easy manoeuvring through airports. A survey crew can deploy on commercial airlines using standard baggage allowances for T20-P transport. The crew arrives at the same time as the equipment without complicated shipment arrangements.
Easy Integration on Small Boats
The T20-P Integration Kit provides for protected transit with the T20-P MBES in the most assembled state possible. This reduces mobilisation time and effort and also reduces the risk of mistakes in the cabling and setting up of the system. The expertise required to mobilise a system in the field is minimised.
For the wet end, specialised adaptors for the SVP70 Sound Velocity Profiler and Applanix IMU enable compact mounting of the T20-P on a Universal Sonar Mount.
For the dry end, the T20-P processor is securely shock-mounted in a transportable Pelican-case that is modified for multiple cable entries. The T20’s processor is pre-connected and an upper shelf provides for mounting other hardware as needed.
