UVS CEO, Neil Hodges and newly appointed Chief Operations Officer, Neil Trenaman, joined Teledyne RD Instruments to celebrate 30 years in business this year at Oceanology 2012 in London.

Formed in 1982, RD Instruments came into being through a revolutionary new device capable of profiling currents at up to 128 individual points in the water column – the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler. UVS has delivered more than 350 instruments for many applications in Australia and surrounding oceans.

Neil Trenaman said that it was a pleasure to work with Teledyne RDI who provided a high quality products backed by proactive service and support. “Teledyne product briefings and workshops enable representatives such as UVS to  improve and maintain product knowledge to support our clients in the field” said Neil, “the workshops conducted at Oceanology were again very valuable and focussed on the Sentinel V ADCP product and the Velocity software which will provide many new features and benefits for our customers.”
