Teledyne RD Instruments Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Harry Maxfield, took time out from his busy schedule to unveil a plaque commemorating forty years of business for UVS Pty Ltd. Teledyne Congratulates UVS on 40 Years

Following the successful ADCPs in Action – Water Resources conference jointly l hosted on the Gold Coast by UVS and Teledyne RDI, Harry visited the UVS facility at Newcastle NSW where he unveiled the plaque.  Harry said that RDI and UVS had enjoyed a long term relationship that was focussed on spectacular customer satisfaction and that initiatives such as the ADCPs in Action conference in Australia were key to supporting customers in the application of ADCPs to their work. Harry said that the organising team for AIA Australia has did did a tremendous job in organising all things and that the event was characterised by excellent presentations, good interaction with customers, good demonstrations combined with a very benign environment.

Darren Burrowes, UVS Chief Technology Officer, said that UVS was pleased to continue the partnership with RDI into new areas and were working to establish an ADCP Service Centre capability in Australia. “This will provide for faster turnaround and local service of all types of ADCPs”, said Darren “Our capability will include verification of ADCPs and repair, modification and upgrade”.
