SUEX Diver Propulsion Vehicle – Upgrade your Underwater Navigation

“SINAPSI” special navigation nose enables underwater reception and processing

“SINAPSI” is a special navigation nose that can be fitted to SUEX Diver Propulsion Vehicles (DPVs) to enable underwater reception and processing of navigation data. SINAPSI makes it possible to expand the navigation system by selection of multiple way points on a map based on a planning that takes place through the CALYPSO app.

SINAPSI is available for XJ-S and XK SUEX models and with its use together with ERON D-1 makes the EXTENDED mode of the dashboard possible. Navigation capability includes:

  • Heading
  • Waypoints
  • Latest generation Attitude and Heading Reference System
  • Proprietary fusion firmware
  • DPV Speed through the water
  • DPV travelled Distance through the water

SUEX has recently announced the following upgrades for SINAPSI and other DPV functions:

  • Waypoint navigation schedule through the SINAPSI Nose
  • Battery firmware 2.23 – a wider compatibility between the li-ion batteries and the old model DPVs will be possible.
  • Version 6.1 firmware for ERON dashboard
  • Optimised battery management
  • Push notifications

The “Calypso” App available for Android and iOS device improves the navigation experience and provides the diver with useful information on the DPV by recording essential data before and after every dive. New functions include:

  • Smart battery management with push notifications
  • Waypoint navigation planning with the SINAPSI Nose
  • new ERON and Calypso user manuals to be downloaded from the App Help section
  • tutorial videos on the ERON accelerometer update and on the SINAPSI Nose
