Saab Australia and BlueZone Group have teamed to offer “state of the art” hydrographic oceanographic systems design to the Commonwealth of Australia under program SEA 2400 Phase 1 Hydrographic Data Collection Capability.

This arrangement will bring together Saab’s system integration capability combined with BlueZone’s application experience and wide portfolio of leading global hydrographic oceanographic systems and equipment.

For Project SEA1770 Rapid Environment Assessment, UVS, a BlueZone Group company, will supply, integrate and support sensor suites including, Fly Away Survey Kits and tide, wave and current monitoring systems. These sensor suites will be embarked in the Survey Vessel Hydrographic Oceanographic to be acquired by SEA2400.

BlueZone Group will offer a complete Hydrographic and Oceanographic capability solution to ensure the RAN’s ability to undertake strategic maritime geospatial information and environmental data collection credibly, effectively, and safely. BlueZone, as the supplier of hydrographic and oceanographic equipment for the SEA 1770 Rapid Environmental Assessment Programme, is well placed to provide SAAB with subject matter expert advice on the appropriate solutions for SEA 24400.

REMUS 100 NG is man portable and will provide a highly capable AUV search and reconnaissance capability to RAN Deployable Geospatial Survey Teams to be equipped by Project SEA1770.
