Ocean Data Systems

Continuing to build on a partnership that has been in place for many years, UVS CTO, Darren Burrowes, visited Colin Russell of Ocean Data Systems at his facility in Auckland, New Zealand. Ocean Data Systems Ltd is a New Zealand based supplier of Oceanographic and Hydrographic Equipment, with more than 25 years of industry experience.

At the heart of the partnership has been a focus on sales and support of Teledyne RD Instruments ADCP products. Colin is very experienced in deployment of instruments in New Zealand waters and provides a dedicated support service from his specialised workshop. Combined with UVS ADCP verification service customers from Auckland to Perth can now access Australia/New Zealand based support for their instruments. Colin commented that many ADCP users appreciated the fast turnaround and dedicated support that he provided for RDI products in New Zealand.
