Eight Days, Ten Cables, One Epic Holiday Turnaround

While most businesses were winding down for the holidays, BlueZone was powering up. As December 2025 raced toward Christmas, our workshop was buzzing — solder sparking, cables flying, and moulding resin setting as our technicians pulled off a last‑minute Christmas miracle.

When a client suddenly found themselves without a supplier and urgently needed ten moulded subsea cables, BlueZone didn’t hesitate to jump in. What could have been a holiday headache quickly became an opportunity for our team to step in and shine.

Undeterred by the short timeline the team got to work. From sales to the workshop, it was truly all hands-on deck — sourcing components, preparing quotes, locking in the paperwork, and getting production underway. With soldering irons glowing and deadlines looming, the team pulled together to deliver the full order neatly packaged and ready to go, just in time for Santa’s arrival.

Our technical team left no stone unturned throughout the assembly. Every cable passed through meticulous stages — from precision soldering and careful moulding to rigorous pressure testing using our in‑house facilities. These tests ensured each assembled housing could withstand the demanding subsea conditions it was designed for. The result was a set of cables built with confidence, durability, and the level of quality our customers rely on.

From the very first enquiry to final delivery, BlueZone achieved an impressive eight‑day turnaround — with the first six moulded subsea cables completed and shipped before Christmas.
