BlueZone Group Sharpens Product Expertise at TMTW
Riding the Wave of our 25-year Celebration, BlueZone Group Dives into a Packed Season of Innovation and Industry Engagement
Fresh of the back of the success of our 25-year anniversary event BlueZone group are charging into the final months of 2025 with back-to-back event and exhibition attendances. BlueZone Group has been a long-standing participant in the Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop (TMTW), attending the event for many years. TMTW offers a chance for our sales team to gain an increased understanding of Teledyne’s current and emerging products. Ensuring our team is equipped with the latest product knowledge, enabling them to best support our customers.
This year TMTW featured a range of exciting products from an in-depth vehicle’s presentation highlighting Teledyne’s history and focus on AUVs and Gliders to an emphasis on multi and single beam echosounders. Day 2 delivered in-depth exploration across key domains including vehicles, geospatial technologies, ADCP, navigation, and sonar. Attendees engaged in focused breakout sessions led by subject matter experts, complemented with an on-water demonstration showcasing Teledyne’s products in real-world conditions.
The vehicle-focused session provided an in-depth look at the Slocum Glider range, offering insights into its operational capabilities and a preview of upcoming innovations from Teledyne aimed at addressing key industry challenges. Meanwhile, the sonar session explored a significant software update for the SeaBat series, highlighting the integration of ‘Normalized Backscatter’ which compensates for sonar settings in real-time to provide more accurate and repeatable backscatter data, enhancing survey accuracy alongside traditional bathymetry. This forthcoming release represents a major advancement in underwater mapping technology. Be sure to get your hands on this one- it’s a game changer!
The on-water demonstration along Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River provided attendees with a firsthand look at Teledyne’s technologies in action. Featured systems included the RiverRay ADCP, SeaBat T51-R, BlueView M900, Geospatial LiDAR, and TSS Saturn 10—each showcasing its capabilities in a dynamic, real-world environment. From calculating water column volume to mapping submerged shipwrecks, the demonstration offered valuable insight into how customers use these tools in their daily operations. This experience not only deepened our technical understanding but also strengthened our ability to support and represent these solutions effectively.
We extend our sincere thanks to Teledyne for their continued support and trust in BlueZone Group as the Australian agent. Workshops like the Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop (TMTW) play a vital role in equipping our team with the knowledge and confidence needed to effectively sell, service, and support our customers.
We deeply value our partnership and look forward to many more years of collaboration as we navigate evolving industry innovations together.
