World Oceans Day – 8 June
BlueZone Group joins with the United Nations and organisations around the globe to celebrate World Oceans Day.
Originally proposed by the Government of Canada at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, Word Oceans Day celebrates the ocean, its importance in our lives, and how we can protect it.
A healthy world ocean is critical to our survival. Every year, World Oceans Day provides a unique opportunity to honour, help protect, and conserve the world’s oceans. The World Oceans Day theme for 2017 is “Our Oceans, Our Future”.
