Gemini 720i

Gemini 720i – Multibeam Imaging Sonar (300m)
The Gemini 720i multibeam imaging sonar sets new standards for multibeam imaging sonars.

The Gemini 720i sonar provides real-time, crisp imagery of the underwater scene ahead, making Gemini the ideal technology for subsea sonar vision for obstacle avoidance or search and rescue (SAR) operations.

The sonar head weighs just over 1kg in water and is designed to be easily installed onto a variety of underwater vehicles and platforms. As a compact real-time high frequency imaging solution, Gemini 720i is also suitable for very small ROVs and AUVs.

Gemini 720i features a 720kHz operating frequency and state of the art processing electronics; an integrated sound velocity sensor assists in providing the sharpest image possible, with accurate ranging.

Gemini can be upgraded to Gemini SeaTec software for target tracking applications. Gemini SeaTec is specifically designed to detect the probability of objects and subsequently classifies such targets.
